Hey everyone! Thanks so much for joining our first ever Airtable Enterprise Network event! ICYMI, check out the link to the recording here, and see below for some highlights!

- @Kelly_OShaughne dove into the latest product launch, showcasing the revamped Interface Designer experience. Starting with easy Interface creation, she introduced the App Quick Start guide and workflow templates (currently in Beta), making setting up workflows tailored to your needs a breeze. The goal? Less time managing processes, more user adoption, and streamlined collaboration at scale.
- Kelly also spilled the beans on upcoming features, including Android support, dashboards, charting, pivot tables, conditional sections in forms, and more. The team is on a mission to make Interfaces the go-to collaboration tool for Airtable users.

The attendees also asked some great questions - here’s a roundup of the answers:
- What will happen to my in-base forms?
- You will still have full access to your in-base forms. At launch, we’ll begin to promote heavier usage of Interface Forms as the primary form surface.
- Will I be able to do everything I’m able to do in the base forms?
- Yes – all major feature in-base form features are being ported over to Standalone Forms.
- Will I be able to migrate my in-base forms to Standalone forms?
- Yes! We have a flow to duplicate any existing in-base forms to Standalone forms.
- Are we rolling out a new constrained layout for forms?
- Yes! Doing so allows all forms to be easy accessible on mobile devices & makes it easier to build. We’re using this beta period to get feedback about the new constrained layout before the release to ensure it’s a smooth transition to the new experience.
- Do users need to have an Airtable account to fill out a Standalone form?
- No – if the form is shared with a public audience, those users do not need to log into Airtable to fill out the form.
- Who can create a standalone form?
- Only users with creator permissions can create and publish standalone forms.
- I thought there were already forms in Interfaces.
- Can I still build an App without using ACE?
- Absolutely. This is purely an additive experience. If you prefer to continue building the way you have been, those options are still available for you. When they hit “create”, click on “start with data” will take you to a blank base.
- What are Workflow templates?
- Workflow template are part of the app creation wizard flow. This new feature bundles UI, schema, and/or logic like automations or formulas, to accomplish a specific workflow and makes an app more powerful and useful.
- Can I import my own data?
- Yes! There are multiple ways you can import your own data into the app:
- Sync to another base
- CSV import
- Import a verified data set.
- In the wizard itself. After selecting the use case(s) and boost(s) you will have the option to import your data before generating the app
- Post wizard. After creating an app, you have the option to import from the data tab.
