Location: Pittsburgh, PA

What my team is doing with Airtable: We've built an integrated suite of applications to help us plan, track, and report on what we do from everything to purchasing equipment to working with faculty.

What we hope to do with Airtable: Keep building! We have a lot of projects in the pipeline and are leveraging new features as they come out in our existing apps.

Favorite Airtable Feature: How the the custom API documentation adjusts to the specifics of whatever base you are working with. Very cool. Now just do the same thing with user-facing documentation based on what Airtable features a base is using!

Hi All, I'm late to this post but I just joined the community from the onboarding webinar hosted today and I'm poking around a bit! I'm particularly curious if anyone has used Airtable for similar processes, but I have not yet come across it.

Name: Madisen

Company/Role: R&D Program Lead

Location: Sacramento, CA

What my team is doing with Airtable: We are using it as phenotyping software to evaluate commercial crop varieties, hosting a varieties catalog and germplasm inventory, and keeping a trialing calendar.

What we hope to do with Airtable: Right now we export our phenotypic data with python to custom software that we do not have a UI for. However this process can be cumbersome. I like to look at data before it's been exported so i use AirTables features that are more like a spreadsheet: rollups and formulas. I would like to see these functions expanded into more statistical analysis. I also would like to display extensions in interfaces. There are certain extensions that offer better data visualization than what is available in interfaces.

Favorite Airtable Feature: Comments, revision history tracking, and interfaces built for specific permissions.

What my team is doing with Airtable: Sooooo many wonderful things. Some of my favorites include a script-enhanced capacity tracking feature backlog, and an super-synced design asset inventory that solves a problem our org didn't even know it had.

What we hope to do with Airtable: establish it as the go-to tool for building consensus around scope and scale

Favorite Airtable Feature: Automations + Scripts!

Name: Lauren Hazay

Company/Role: Endeavour Group / Property Support

Location: Sydney, Australia

What my team is doing with Airtable: We are a large national retailer and hotel business with a network of about 2000 stores/venues. Using Airtable to track our pipeline of changes to the network (new locations, closures, etc) and the business approvals for them.

What we hope to do with Airtable: We are replacing a Quickbase we will no longer have access to for business reasons and that whole system just feels tired, clunky, and outdated. So mainly I am keen to INNOVATE! Improve our processes in ways the team didn't even realise were a possibility.

Favorite Airtable Feature: Automations - getting rid of those repetitive and tedious tasks
