Hi all! I thought I would share some things I wish I could do on Airtable right now, manifesting that they may be future features.

1. In a long text field, I wish I could use bullets and hyper links. This would help display cleaner for the field in interfaces

2. I wish I could save a record as a PDF from an interface - from the record selector and single record layouts. I know this can be done in Page designer extension but - to my knowledge - page designer does not dynamically space. And its not nearly as easy to customized as an interface.

You can do your first ask now. Use the "Enable rich text formatting" toggle in the settings for the long text field.

A common way of turning a record into a PDF is using a third party integration. You can use an automation that is triggered in the interface to call the third party integration and generate the PDF. It isn't as nice as a native solution would be, but it is better than Page Designer. There are several third party PDF generation services available and many have a free trial.

Thanks amazing thank you! I've never noticed that toggle before. I found a chrome extension as well for now to take full window screen shots to PDF. Called "GoFullPage" if anyone else finds this useful

There is also a native “print” option on most of the interfaces now, so you can create PDFs from your print dialog box on Mac.

For 3rd-party PDF printing, DocuMint is a good option.

Another I just came across: For synced tables created from a miro board, it only uploads stickies, and shapes as data to airtable, it does not pull the "card" type from Miro which is what i use the most of since there are more features for that shape. It would be nice if i could pull cards into airtable
